I want to keep writing
To loosen the tangles of my mind
To swim deep down past the waves
and the life and to float
along the sand like a sea ray
With the cold of the sea
Reviving my senses
And the oceans heartbeat
Resetting my nervous system
The perfect sound machine that it is
Where I am no longer racing
And my brain is at peace
And yet not asleep
Where I am free from the noise
From the chaos of my mind
And the land I left behind
I watch as the clouds pass me by
And the storyteller is silent
The meaning mustn’t be told
For it is all enough
Neither good nor bad
Should or regret
Feelings move through
And all of me resets…
